White heads are: clogged pores from underneath. Excessive oil gets trapped below. A white head requires to be lanced to extract the trapped oil. Have a professional do it only, for the lancing must be done by entering the exact location of the poor opening or the oil can not be removed.
By not finding the right position of extraction, you'll only injure the skin and bleed.
No topical potions of any kind will fix this.
The different between a black or white head is: Black head is accumulation of oil, left inside an open poor, accumulation from the outside.
White heads is reversed, (the problem starts from with in)

White heads as they are commonly refered to are really called milia. They are cholesterol deposits that collect under the epidermis. They cannot be removed by yourself. You need to visit an esthetician or a dermatologist. They will make tiny incisions in your skin and lift them out.All of the other suggestions everybody else made so far won't work. No scrub or cream will remove them either. Source: Dermatologist

Talk to your doctor or a dermatologist (for the best results)....OR go to a Wal-mart, Target, or anywhere where they sell acne wash and look for this stuff by Neutrogena ( I'm almost 100% positive that they have an off brand also). Any way it is called, Oil-Free Acne Wash Daily Scrub. It's great for blackheads too. Also, it is a great exfoliator, so is a sugar and water paste.

There is no such thing as ,regardless of the skintone.
We all get blackheads, and the way to get rid of them is to cleanse your face on the regular, get a facial once a month if you have a little extra $,you can even do it yourself home,NEVER SLEEP WITH MAKE-UP,cleanse your face everytime you remove your make-up and moisten your face with a moisturizer. You'll be alright.

Natural products are best. Oatmeal and yogurt (plain) actually work wonders when you want to know how to get rid of whiteheads. Washing your face thoroughly and then putting baby powder on your skin works well, too – baby powder dries everything up quickly.
How to get rid of whiteheads? Take care of your skin by washing with oil-free products twice daily. You can also use an exfoliate on your skin daily to smooth out the skin. Don’t be afraid to use oil-free moisturizers on the skin – if your face gets too dry, it will only increase the oil production and cause more breakouts.
When you know how to get rid of whiteheads, you know that you must take care of your skin. Keep skin clean and dry and avoid oily products, too much make-up, and excess touching of the face. Don’t make yourself crazy buying over-the-counter products and try natural remedies that will be healthy for your skin.

After washing your hands squeeze them as you would black heads. Then put an astringent on your face when done. You may also try ending your warm or hot shower or bath with a cool rinse to close your pores.

Go to a dermatologist. If you try squeezing them yourself, you can end up with a huge red zit!
