I just met these group of guys from another school and so far they all SEEM cool. After talking to one that everyone seems to hate I find out he may be the most decent of them all! They all have equal issues but he is actually the one who hasn't hurt the most people.

How can I prove to my friends and the other kids from the school that he is descent and could maybe be an awesome friend!!!

Your ability to like someone for who they are,Regardless of what your friends may think,Separates you from the flock and exudes your individualism. You're a person people will look up to in the future if you repeatedly stand up for what you believe in.Well done,And all the best for your bright future.

I am guessing since you just met him, I am going to side with "everyone else" instead of you because anyone can act fake and make a nice first impression..but the truth is you cant like the lesser of the evil and say he is decent and then expect to prove that to others. You dont want friends who hurt people. Be careful and take care.

It's really hard to change your friend's minds the most you can tell them is it's mean they hate him and make you feel bad, they should be happy you found another friend. He really has to be the one to prove to them he's a nice guy. Maybe you should tell him that he you think he's a great guy and it's not cool everyone sees it and you would love it if everyone did. And just ask your friends to give him a chance and explain to them that they really didn't give him one.

Maybe you should try to prove to yourself that he's a good person to date and not your friends because your the one interested in him. What if he's a good guy and you didn't give him a chance would you be mad at yourself for listening to your friends? I know you may value your friends opinions, but I think this decision should be made from your heart. Good Luck with your decision.

Hey, you don't have to prove anything to anyone!

I once dated a guy who was known as the town drunk and a player. He was one of the nicest guys I ever met (he even asked if he could dye Easter eggs with my little sister and brother) and never got drunk once or came on too strong.

Repition. If he does something totally nice without seeming to have a motivation more than once, that should prove it.

How shallow are you friends that they don't want to give him a chance?

Have sex with him and if he doesn't run when the cake rises, then there is your proof.
