I mean, really. Libs like to use referrences to Hitler when speaking of Bush and it's called Free Speech. Are people upset because Ann called Edwards a name or are they mad because she insulted gays?

I found this one on another news source:
"John Edwards' campaign, reacting to derogatory comments by conservative commentator Ann Coulter — she called the former North Carolina senator and presidential hopeful a "******" — is trying to turn it into a rallying point for fundraising, asking supporters to donate $100,000 in "Coulter Cash."
It was unclear from the statement on the Edwards campaign Web site what the money would exactly go to, but it did address the comments directly.
"We must show that inflaming prejudice to attack progressive leaders will only backfire," the site read."
He's going to try to make money off of this. Go figure. Also, the comment about "inflaming prejudice by attacking progressive leaders will only backfire"?
What the heck have all those attacks against Bush been called?

Hey, Kat: Clinton was impeached because he lied under oath and committed perjury. Not because he had sex with an intern. Bush never lied. He based everything off the same intel everyone else had. Saying Bush lied is like saying the Clintons lied (again).

I'll tell you what liberal hypocrisy is: It is demanding an apology for Ann Coulters making fun of John Edwards, but not speaking out against Cindy Shehan and Michael Moore when they say something that is equally offensive. The Republicans were quick to come down on Ann Coulter for her jab at Edwards, but when placenta planting Shehan says she wants to kill the President, or when Suzan Surrandan, Michael Moore, Tim Robins, etc... say that Bush is Hitler, or that Bush is a retard, the liberal politicians simply shrug and turn the other way. That, my friend, is hypocrisy.

Do you notice how they always make her look like some kind of Photoshopped freak? The Newsweek cover was a closeup of her legs, this makes her look like a zombie.
Because she isn't PC, she's "unamerican" all of a sudden? I thought it was interesting... it didn't seem like she called him that directly. Considering the nasty things that his bloggers said about Catholics (and indeed Christians, too... the King James Bible says that Jesus was born of a virgin, does it not?)
I'm not a Republican, an ex of mine is a shemale, but the media is getting so whiny that it's driving me crazy! (And her cameo appearance on the 1/2 Hour News Hour was fantastic!)
I live in North Carolina and am proud to say that I never voted for Edwards... I went to UNC, though, so I guess I can't really say much. (I'm proof that not everyone there's a hippie, but it drove me nuts how my chemistry prof said that we wouldn't have to kill innocents in Iraq for oil if we could figure out cold fusion... and m psychology/"personality" prof said that women were superior to men and it was a male prof! Men and women are DIFFERENT, people, and have different strengths and weaknesses.)

In the world of liberals, everyone else is to blame for all of our problems, yet they offer no solutions. If you disagree with a lib, they promptly roll out the old, "you're questioning my patriotism?" bit. I feel sorry for these people because they can't get a true grip on reality. They really do view the world through rose colored glasses. In their mind, if they take YOUR money and throw it at a problem, every thing will be peachy keen.

A: This liberal has never compared Bush to Hitler, and strongly disagrees with anyone who would.
I think Bush is an awful President, but that doesn't make him Hitler.
B. I am upset at Ann Coulter on both counts. But I can't say I am surprised about anything that comes out of that hateful *****'s mouth.
However, I am thinking this time she might have really stepped into it, and I think this is just starting to become a huge problem for her and anyone in that audience that doesn't come out right away and distant themselves from her statement.

I think what's offensive is relative. Personally, I think Bush is a dictator, so I wouldn't find that offesive. I don't know what she said about John Edwards, so I can't speak to that. But I can say that I don't appreciate her saying hateful things about any group of people.
As for hypocrisy, let me get this straight:
We should impeach the president for lying about his sex life, but we should just sit idley by while the president (admittedly) lies to the country and the world, about a war started over imaginary weapons of mass destruction. How many people have died for a war fought over lies? Think on that.
