both but you know what? I would give anything I could to have my dad embarass me in front of my friends because he is deceased now and I miss him so bad it would even be okay if he was here to embarass me.

They're cool. I still hang out with them. I used to be ashamed of them, but not anymore. Except, I don't think cool parents means being irresponsible parents.

Yes, I have very cool parents. My house was the place to hang out during high school.

My wonderful father passed away from a heart attack 39 years ago on March 10...
My poor mother is in a nursing home 3 years now with Alzheimer's and is getting worse...
I am trying to remember them when they were here with me and happy and healthy, but is gets harder and harder all the time, the more years that pass me by...

My Mom was awesome...all the kids called her Mom & would tell me they wanted to come live with us....
She had me at 19...so we kind of grew up together...
What's sad...she is now 52 & acts like she the oldest woman alive...still cool...but not AS cool as she once was...LOL....I still love her dearly though...
My Dad was MIA...

I had some great parents while I was growing up and they were still young...
Now they are no longer here and I miss them a lot...
