I always think of the words of Emily Dickinson: " How dreary to be somebody/ How public like a frog/ To tell one's name the livelong day/ To an admiring bog."

Wow...a serious question...how refreshing..
I would not want to be famous,I would be forced to wear sunglasses all day and night...those papparazzi flashlights....ya know.
Having no privacy at all...no way ,thank you.
I wouldn't mind being rich though...you don't have to be famous to be rich.I think Prince said something to that fact....

Love the quote, mah dear, but what is fame? It's a life of its own... Someday, it will all disappear, for such things never last. I think that it is not worth giving away your privacy for temporary happiness when the world's happiness is right before you. You have to know how to take it and enjoy it while you can, and sometimes there is a beauty in such privacy, to have time to yourself - to bask in the sunshine, to make mistakes and not be afraid that the world would ridicule you of it. To do crazy things to make you and others happy, and not have to worry what the world thinks of it. I guess that that is what privacy really is, and fame is not worth it in the end.

I won't even my trade personal space privacy for that. Whether I have something to hide or not, it is not the point:

1. Won't you be upset if someone capture you on camera while making love to your wife?

2. Won't you be upset if some one capture you on camera while you are in the bathroom for # 2. ?

3. Won't you be upset if someone capture you on camera doing something that should remain, or you wanted to keep as a secrete because it is none of any body's concern?

The list goes on. Money comes and goes. Fame does not last too long. Sooner or later someone, somehow will spare no effort to scandalize you. We are not perfect.

If your answer to the above is you won't be upset, then by all means, GO for it.

great quote! No, you know..I think it may be cool to be famous and admired for a little while but..after a while it would probably get really old and annoying. The money would be nice but..its such a big price to pay. Your every mistake, triumph, love, trip to walmart..ALL OVER the magazine rack. ya know?

no... no matter how rich, and famous you are privacy can't be bought...
plus fame is just temporary... you would not want people constantly following you and forever pointing out your mistakes every second would you?
