Elvis made his first national TV appearance on January 28, 1956 on the Dorsey Brothers Stage Show.

His first appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show wasn't until September 9, 1956.

I think it was the Ed Sullivan show. and they couldn't show him dance from bellow the waist due to his sexy moves!!!! BOY has television really changed or what???
