There are different grades of copper. M is strictly for residential use. It has red lettering down the length of the pipie. L has blue lettering and is a little thicker walled and has more durability than M. Commercial grade is K and has green lettering. I do my own plumbing on my house. I always use at least L type. Very little more cost and once it is covered up, there is less worry. A few months ago I paid about $15.00 at H. Depot/Arizona for 10'.

Well then let me suggest the next best thing. A hardware store is your answer. ACE Hardware to be exact. Not only is their store chain so pleasant to visit in person, but their website www.acehardware.com is nice and helpful. They sell excellent copper pipe, tubing, galvanized pipes, pvc, schedule 40,etc. Why give the other stores some money when Ace is the helpful place?

Depends where you purchase it. $16.00 for 10' 1/2" rigid was the price I paid from a plumbing supply outlet (for plumbers/contractors). The price varies so much these days from location, availability and material cost, they usually don't post prices on the net for building supplies.

There is a life besides the computer. Pick up that thing that has buttons and you hold up to the side of your face. Call them and ask for the plumbing dept.
