i'm probably the most left-handed person in the world. all the books i have seen on ASL are diagrammed for right-handed people, but i find them confusing.

american sign language is done using the right hand regardless of the signer's "handedness". take a class and you can learn the signs better.
i am ambi and find it difficult to transition, too.

Being left or right handed doesn't matter. I'm left-handed and I've been doing American Sign Language since I was 7.

just do the sign with the other hand. Immitate it using the opposite hand.

Use the book in front of a mirror if it's too hard for you to look at it and reverse it.
