Interested in VB,Oracle,Java(a little)......related stuffs....

Might help if you could narrow the scope a bit... what sort of 'project'? Maybe just finding a good CS paper and implementing a system around it would work, or given your interest in VB and Oracle, maybe a web service to do something specific.
