My buddy plays the electric guitar and it has inspired me to buy a bass and start a band with him.i just want to know if its fun!

I've been playing bass for 6 years since I was 14, and I'll tell you what, it definitley IS the most fun to play on stage. And the techniques and styles you pick up over the years of playing are fantastic. You're going to love it. Look up THESE bass players in particular to learn a few new things just by watching and listening :)

Yes my dear friend,
It is so fun that even other instruments become unnessessory when you sing slow rhythm songs along with only bass guitar. We cannot imagine a song without it.
