Well, as occidental basically means "westerner," the opposite would be "easterner." In regular use, the term is used to indicate the highly developed western superpowers (i.e. the U.S., the U.K., etc...) It's a culture more than a place.
The opposite of this would be oriental (although many oriental countries are indeed very powerful) or third world.
