I've never heard of that saying before and I am wondering what it means (see 'Fat people can go skinny dippin' answer: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Aj.6NFZF1U0cBfVDnauoqyIP7RR.?qid=20070303082004AAhCVn4 )

By the way, Dave Star admits that he is gay, so I would imagine he would be looking for a 'sarong party boy' not girl hehehe!

I think I'm beginning to get the picture now, in Sarawak they would call them 'bar girls' or 'cheeky girls' but what has a sarong got to do with it? do they hang around the bars wearing sarongs or what?

repairman, sarong party girls are asian girls who like white men..the first guy said foreign men...thats partially right..but these type of girls wouldn't date the banglas, indons or other blue collar workers..so its better to just say white men..oops, my bad, if he is gay then it should be sarong party boy then =)

A Sarong Party Girl - commonly abbrieviated to SPG is a young cute hot local that likes Caucasian or just basically foreign men. Reasoning is that the foreigners have a lot of money and these SPGs normally hang out at trendy pibs/nightclubs to pick up these foreigners. The SPG will wear somethingtight and revealing - like a little black dress and they will be swooning all over the foreigner - no matter how old or good looking he is.

They are Not generally hookers or whatever but just local gals that want to have a good time - perhaps short term, perhaps longer term. The SPG term applies in Singapore as well. They do not rob or steal from you so the experience that has been portrayed on other posts are generally wrong. These are just girls that want to party and have a good time and the foreigners (generally white) can provide in terms of spending money on them.....

not sure about the term used in malaysia but its very common here in singapore
basically it just refer to the local girls going after only white man(they will not even look at local man) and their pick up spots are at the local bar/pubs.. they believe that these men have more $$$$ and knows how to give the girl a good time etc.. but things change .i think. meaning the standard defination of an SPG has "evolved" no longer they will have long black hair or they used to be dressed in little black tops .. there's no way of telling if that girl is an SPG nowadays..

Just go to any happening place like Bangsar, and you will see lots of SPGs hanging on the arms of "White men". These girls thinks they are cool because of their "white accessories" and most of them tried to speak with an awful slang. Cauasians knew these girls are out for a good time only and most of these guys refers to them as "gold diggers". How I know that?? It's because some of my male Cauasian friends told me so!!!!
