It is normal football except it is played on a 50 yard field with 8 foot goalposts, and with a wall around the field. Also, recievers are allowed to be in motion when the ball is snapped

It is NOT "normal football played on a 50 yard field". At least not if you mean the Arena Football League. Now where I am we have our own league that uses more or less NFL rules on a 50 yard field. That isn't the AFL though. For starters you can't PUNT in the AFL. You go for it on fourth down or kick a Field Goal. The Goal posts are slightly higher and not as wide. As the one said about going to the AFL's website and then use the 101 thing which tells you the rules and a little about it. I don't really get watching it on TV. Now the local league was fun to go to the games and it is exciting but not sure about watching the Arena League on TV. Maybe I'll try again. Yeah it is organized Chaos and that is the fun to it. QBs have to pass ALOT faster. Most QBs have to be able to run as well, because that is what they have to do. There is no pocket passer so to speak. No QB gets enough time to do that.

Something kind of like NFL football that is played by draft day wash-outs who didn't make the cut, and watched only by the most desperate sports fan between the months of February and August....
