he said he has will power but sometimes doesnt work for him and I said it is because you do not have it if you have will power it will work the only time it doesnt work is if you dont have it. Do you agree

Will power is having the power to do something. If you don't do it you don't have the will power. Yes I agree with you. I reckon your friend doesn't know what will power is.

I agree with you.

The very definition of "will power" is having the will and the power to succeed. If you truly HAVE will power, you will succeed. Once you "give up" on your mission, you stop having will power. And then you end up in an argument with your friend.

No, like physical power there are things that fatigue and leave will power without stamina to endure.

he can have will power and choose not to use it. The problem is that he has will power and free will and chooses the latter.
