Would like to know trivia facts such as gas prices...housing prices, most popular jobs...most popular places to live...important events such as floods...fires..most popular kids toy...most popular kids game...fun weekend things to do...hairstyles...most popular restaurants..province population then and now..agriculture then and now.. what were most houses made of....how long was the average school day...what was the minimum wage....how much was bus fare.. photos of BC 50 years ago of the people ,towns, cities.....

I don't know precisely, as I did not grow up in your part of the world.

In the US I recall buying gasoline at 29 cents a gallon and that $100,000 would have bought you the best house in the county (Milwaukee) The minimum wage was $1.25 at the time; I know this because I worked for it a while. You could, and I did, get on a bus for 25 cents.

The rest of your questions cannot be answered by anyone who did not grow up in British Columbia.

Your town will have a museum, with photos and such.
I've seen phtos of Toronto in those times, and WOW, what a difference!
