1. "Popping your cherry" is when the hymen, which is a small flap of tissue on the outside of the vagina, is torn usually during your first sexual encounter. Some people think that the hymen is something that is popped on the inside of the vagina but they are mistaken. The hymen can be torn by doing any normal activities like playing lots of sports, riding a bike, masturbating etc. Not all girls have a hymen and some are stretchy enough to not tear during intercourse.

2. A yeast infection is a bacterial infection of the vagina that is caused by an abundance of bacteria. The discharge regulates the bacteria by flushing the bad bacteria out. It's a way of cleaning the vagina. A yeast infection can be cause by it being too moist in that area for a long period of time, antibiotics, or that area coming in contact with something dirty as in during masturbation. To avoid a yeast infection wear 100% cotton panties. Some of the symptoms include itching, redness, soreness, and burning. If you think you have one eat lots of yogurt, and drink lots of water.

3. It depends on the person. A girl usually starts her period around the same time that her mother started hers. For some reason I have no recollection of having discharge before my first period and that was only about 8 years ago. It is usually within a 6 month to 18 month time frame though.

1. it means to break one's hymen (thin layer of skin that surrounds the opening to the vagina), it can break in a number of different ways such as from falling, riding a bike or as in my case mine was broken during my very first pelvic exam and pap smear when the dr I had at the time used the regular size instrument called a speculum to do the exam.

2. A yeast infection is a fungal infection that can sometimes be caused by using antibiotics, especially a lot because there are no good bacteria to help balance out the ph levels in our system. PH has to do with measuring balance of certain chemicals in our body.

3. Every young woman's body is different. For me it was about a year also.

To be on the safe side check with your dr.
