Just curious. When I plug my headphones into the headphone jack on my front panel audio, I get a buzzy kind of static. Once something starts playing, it's not noticeable, but when it's silent, it's extremely irritating. Any ideas?

It's not the cell-phone kind of buzz, trust me, I unfortunately know how that sounds. Just sounds like maybe bad shielding? I don't know, it's a steady buzz, not really static.

Turn off interfering objects. Sometimes that helps but when that happens to me it can mean many things like
My cell phone is about to ring
The radio station is getting a call
I'm connecting to the internet
You can try to re-plug it in and see what you get, but static is static.

Typically, the ground is not large enough. Or you are getting distortion if the wires are near other high power devices such as printers or monitors. Usually some is always expected with high power headphones. The package the headphones came with should give you the total harmonic distortion (thd)

Much like car stereos, it is always a good idea to add an extra groud wire to the chassis to give it all the grounding it needs.

For your computer, if you don't wanna rig it, it is just best to get an extension for the rear audio output and use it. Or you can get a device that prevents distortion from electronic shops.

Typically most sound cards are fully capable of eliminating nearly all distortion and you may wanna get one. Plus they have cool features through software to tune your music however you want.

perhaps there is something incorrect along with your the front audio enter hollow, open the computer and make certain no longer something is broken (if its a operating laptop or computer) if its a computer then I advise going to a restore keep until eventually you actually understand what you're doing
