someone i know was raped when he was younger repeatingly and now thinks that by killing theirself it would make the person suffer. he doesn't want anyone to tell because he thinks it would make things worse. what should i do, report it or something else???

If you think he is deadly serious sure it's time to call in the pros's. Seems he hasn't been able to let go of his past. I would suggest to him if he is somewhat coherent to go see a hypnotist to help with the emergent emotional pain.

i'd take it seriously, because if he doesn't mean it, then no harm done, but if he does, then you can prevent the loss of a life by taking it seriously and telling someone...
