Actually, limiting the answer to the options you presented, contact lenses are the best. The closer the corrective device can be to the lens of your eye, the less strain your eye's lens undergoes to help in focusing. With glasses, there remains a significant distance between the glass lens and your eye's lens, which will still strain to help in focusing the light coming to it. That's why most people have to have their glasses changed every year or two. With contact lenses, the distance between the contact and your eye's lens is reduced greatly, putting less strain on your eye's lens. That's why people can often use the same contact prescription for many years.
There is actually a better way than any of those you mentioned, that being lasik laser surgery, which can remold the cornea and reduce or eliminate your myopia. It's costly, but permanent and has minimal risks or side effects. I had it 7 years ago for extreme myopia, and haven't had to wear glasses or contacts for the first time in 35 years.
