No, if it's a legitimate game that you got from the store. If there's a virus, the company that made the game would get sued.
If you got a copied game, then it might be possible that someone loaded a virus onto the game, but so far, I've never heard of any consoles getting a virus.

If downloaded this may be as possible as anything downloaded that a bug could adhere. No they have a different format if not downloaded. If downloaded they may have hitchiker worms or trojans into a look alike game. hmmm darn fine Q

No, unless you got a ripped off copy. If you got a genuine PS2 game, it'll be 100% virus free.

In general, no. But, if you obtained the copy illegally, then yes. And there was that one instance when a kid opened up a brand new copy of Madden and there was porn on it, so I wouldn't say anythings impossible.
But that probably isn't your problem.
