What excatly has he done that anyother President HASN'T done? Do you think that every other President in our history hasn't done things that would have caused such a polical Bru-ha-ha than what is going on now? Do we even know everything that every President has done? What would have Karey have done? Can anyone say? What's the next President going to do? So why all the crying? Do you not think there was not a uproar when Lincoln was President? Oh yeah, there was . . . .The Civil War. To get your panties in an uproar is a futile thing and you are just wasting your energy on something that you have no control over. Will Congress do anything? Hell no! They protect themselves! So do us all a favor, stop whining and talk about something worth wile that you might have a slim chance of controlling in your life.

How is not knowing where Bin Laden is Bush's fault? The guy is wanted for bombing the WTC in 1993. Remember, back when Clinton was president, but decided not to do anything? We have been in the Middle East since Eisenhower, resolving some sort of conflict or another. Bush is trying to stop that. If we don't resolve the issues in Iraq, which country will?
I think hating presidents is the flavor of the month. One person decides to not like him and then everyone starts to look for reasons to hate him. For those of you that don't remember from history class, the Civil War was viewed as a disgrace and nobody liked Lincoln at the time either; hell, the guy was bi-polar because of that, and today he is viewed as one of the greatest presidents ever.
Depending on what future presidents do, Bush may be viewed as one of the greatest presidents ever as well. Kinda weird how what people do in the future affects your history.

i will declare he's no longer a bad President, i like he center believes. conflict is Hell, yet especially cases mandatory, This one in mandatory. for my section, he's a extra clever President the bill Clinton, China is the possibility is in at present hence of Clinton's, he's a extra clever President than his Dad, he did no longer basically drop the ball and run a month after the initiating up of the conflict. yet i'm no longer able to assert he's basically approximately as good of a President as Reagan, Now that replaced applicable right into a guy who did no longer take no **** from everybody, Reagan is the reason that I grew to alter applicable right into a Republican, a incredibly Republican and not this pretend Pansy's we've in Washington.

Your question has merit Vinnie, & most have chosen to ignore the spirit it is asked with.
It truly is shameful that history is no longer taught in public schools !! Comparing Bush to Hitler is just one indication of how poorly educated many Americans are.
As for loss of life.....hmmmmm...perhaps you might read about a war in Viet Nam & the casualties ther...or maybe about a place called Hiroshima where an atomic bomb was detonated......I believe the numbers there were also significant.
But then part of the challenge Bush faces is the availability of info from so many different sources has never been greater, & sadly has never been so distorted. Many people actually believe if they read it in a blog it must be factual!!
Bush's place in history won't be fully realized for some years to come, but I can promise you he isn't likely to even make the list of 5 worst Presidents!!
Late Edit to Ginger- Kudos again for typing soooo much in just two minutes !! You must have a wealth of prepared stuff to edit in for answers. I need a committed campaigner like you for my campaign staff!!

Probably the worst thing he did was destroy our committment to the Geneva Convention and to the rule of Law. Bush has signed 'signing statements' 700 times explaining why he will not obey the laws he's just signed.
Holding those two charity workers for 5 years without charges in Gitmo was pretty bad, too.
If you think other American presidents have produced Abu Graihbs, you hate America and are ignorant of her history.

I like Bush, and I think he's a great President, kind of screwed up, still like him very much! People just need to understand that he has to do everything in his power to protect the Americans. I think he's doing a hell of a job...Just wished things we-rent so out of control to many deaths, in both sides! Now there is more control in the United States, as far as being inspected to reformer the system to make sure the Americans can be protected, by terrorism...

So your little brother was a member of Hussein's Republican Guard?
I mean, we've only been engaged in our war crimes over there for 4 years this march 19. And no one stays without leaving. So what's up with your little brother?

Patriots aren't supposed to wear blinders or rose colored glasses. So just where exactly do you fit in? Obviously you don't have a clue to his utmost distinction between any of our past presidents.

Add that tally to the number of dead soldier's from Iraq and the incalcuable Iraqi civilian deaths and your looking at the foremost mass murderer in history!!

Bush has done better than a lot of mere men would have, given the many challenges our nation (and the world) has faced in such a short time. He has not wavered from his commitment in the face of constant attacks from every side. Our nation could show a bit of his back-bone, and we would all be better off.
Yes, we are at war, and in comparison to the WWIII that it will be if we leave Iraq prematurely, I'd say it is a good thing. And Osama is the thing that half the liberals throw in Bush's face, while the other half accuse our own government of 9-11. Which is it, liberals?
EDIT: You are not alone. I also have a brother who was in Afghanistan (during the time that the Liberals were claiming we weren't there). Do not feel alone. They like to talk out their asses about how Conservatives are not in this war.

I concur. But you will never convince the doctors of political science that frequent this site between American Idol and Entertainment Tonight(the only news they watch) to stop screaming for impeachment in a useless forum like this.

You're right. Every president has and will do something people hate. BUT, not every president has caused thousands of deaths. When Clinton lied, nobody died.
Also, while I don't support the war, I do support the troops.
