I would think the UW would have an edge as Seattle has a very computer oriented lifestyle these days. Microsoft is just minutes away and the opportunity to network with others in the same program and beyond seems greater. An internship at microsoft or many other computer firms would seem also easier to find in Seattle. Also, if all things were equal, as a tie breaker, The Pacific Northwest has a better climate and much better recreation opportunities available. Best of luck wherever you decide to attend.

Before I tell you the UW is the better school, check out the computer science industry around the Ohio campus. A feild like computer science needs to feed off the local industy.

Seattle is in the center of just about everything computer science related. The primary Microsoft campus is 10 down the freeway from the UW. Nintendo America is on the other side of the off ramp from Microsoft. Adobe has software writing offices in Seattle, so does Sierra. I can't think of everybody who has an office in the Seattle area.

When it comes to selecting a school, pay a visit to them directly. Meet with advisors from the college for your major. Get familiar with the program at both campuses before you decide which schoo you should attend.
