Japanese people eat whales, whats wrong with dolphins?

My friend Mike got a dolphin caught in his prawning net, while we were trying to free it Mike got bitten, hes a bit of a hot head and he pulled out his pistol and shot it in anger.

We decided since we had a dead dolphin we may aswell cook it up and see what its like, we didnt want the fisheries people to notice a dead dolphin with a bullet hole in it floating around, so we had a bonfire and all ate it.

It actually isnt bad, a bit chewy in places, but smoked it tastes a lot like bacon. Theres heaps of dolphins around our local area, so I dont think its thats bad to eat them. Once in a while

I don't think it is wrong to eat dolphin. But I don't think I could do it. But then again, I do not eat seafood. What would be wrong is to kill it and NOT eat it. I am a firm believer that if you kill an animal, it should be for food or in self defense. And if you kill something, you should try and use all parts of it.

U must be retarded or a psychopath or something. How could u eat a dolphin! So inhumane of u. Next thing u'll tell us is dat ur friend Mike got angry at his girlfriend and shot her and since you did not want the cops to find a dead body with a bullet in it you lit a huge bonfire and barbequed her and ate her up too! I wud not put it past u morons. To answer ur question ...... I think it is absolutely horrible eating a dolphin.....gross.....yuck.....and dangerously weird u unhinged excuse of a human being.

The main thing here is not to bite your friend. You never know how he might react.

To shoot a trapped animal is barbaric and cowardly. Like going hunting by shooting a caged lion.
It comforts me to know that anything which is long-lived and high up in the sea food chain, such as dolphin, swordfish etc, has accumulated a lot of mercury in their tissue, which they have now passed on to you.
There may be "heaps of dolphins" in your area, but that doesn't make them common. Also, if you start killing a few, they will move out of your area - they aren't stupid.

Dolphins are very intelligent creatures. I recommend being less of a hick and refrain from hunting. Japanese whale eating is what is causing whales to be endangered. Let's not start the same with Dolphins.

You are so gross!! Yuckky, why would you eat a dolphin the most highly developed & intelligent species on the planet (after homo sapiens)when you sould just get a fish out of the net, Your not going to have any luck with fishing anymore...cos of what you done its bad luck. Your friend better watch himself when he goes to sea again......

that is bordering on canibalism
dolphins are almost our aquatic intelectual equivalents ,their brains are larger than ours and they are very intelligent
all through history there have been many incidences and stories of dolphins saving humans
outside Australia was a dolphin called jack that for many years guided ships through dangerous waters full of rocks below the surface,

many people have been rescued from sharks by dolphins who attacked the sharks that were threathening swimmers and also people on the point of drowning have been saved by dolphins

many sailors have friendly dolphin stories
i my self have been kept company far out on the ocean for 2 days by a group of dolphins

when you look in their eyes it is like looking in the eye of a human you can see it thinking and you see the spark of inteligence ,a very weird feeling
so No you cannot eat dolphins it would be like murder.

Well, the only problem with eating them is that they are close to extinction.
In the past years many countries have prohibited eating these creatures because of the extinction factor. But from before that law was promulgated in Peru (where I am from) I had the chance of trying it and it was really good.
