My home team is the Red sox and personally i dont think they will win. They will finish first in the AL East but only make it to the ALCS and then get eliminated but you never know. I think the Florida Marlins are going to be the champs. They are under a new manager and there starting linuep is looking good with the rookie of the year and another canidate for that Hanley Ramirez and Dan Uggla.

As a Reds fan I would like them to represent the National League but I know this is just a pipe-dream. The realistic choice is the St. Louis Cardinals. As for the American League I think the Cleveland Indians will be there.

I think it'll be a rematch of Tigers vs Cardinals, that'd be there 5th time meeting each other in the WS, Cards beat Tigers in 1934 and 2006 and Tigers beat Cards in 1935 and 1968, and every single time that the Tigers have won a WS in there Franchise History it has been 1 year after Cards won it, except they won the WS in 1984 which was 2 years after Cards

Boston Red Sox vs New York Mets
Red Sox have a good pitching staff this year with shilling, matsuzaka, papelbon, beckett, lester, clement, wakefield, AND timlin. They have great fielders and hitters, tek, big papi, manny, youkilis, coco, drew, willy mo, and hinske.
Mets good pitching, pedro, chan ho, wagner, (jorge) sosa, and glavine.They have a crazy good lineup, reyes, wright, delgado, franco, lo duca, beltran, alou, and green.
I have the Red Sox winning it because they are my favorite team, and they are just a good experienced team.

I actually have to say it will be the St. Louis Cardinals again, but thats the St. Louis Pride in me. They will beat whoever wins the Wild Card which will be the American League Central again. It will either be the Twins or the Indians who greatly underachieved last year.

I think the Phillies have a good shot in NL. In AL, Yankee chemistry is breaking down, so I think Detroit may do it again.
