I am afraid of giving myself to someone - does it make a difference when you're in love... comfortability wise?

Don't be afraid of sex. You will just know when you are truly ready to have sex. If your heart says you arent ready then don't do it and don't let anyone force you to do it. Sometimes its good to do some research to see what you need to do. If its your first time it isn't always a nice feeling and it could make you more afraid as well. But take your time and do it when you are ready.
Things will work out for the best then you will want it often if its done in a good way. It is a good thing when you are ready for it.!!!!

Well... aabout a year ago I kinda had an "encounter" with somebody that I was not in love with at all... I just wanted to see what it felt like. Looking back on it I kinda regret doing it because I now have a steady boyfriend who I really like/love. I feel that I am not excited to "giving myself to him" at all since I already know what it feels like...
So I'd say yes... It makes all the difference in the world when you are in love... Don't just try it just to see what it is like... Wait until the right time and don't rush it.

There is a saying that you have your own conscience that whispers to you what is wrong and what is right, and it became doubts...People sometime do not listen what our minds dictates us, instead he/she will follow herself without even contemplating the consequences...and that how many people are failure, and why REGRETS are always in the end.
You are afraid to give yourself to someone, because:
1. You are not ready...
2. You love him but you are not sure about yourself..
3. You are thinking for your future or consequences it will take..
Do not give yourself unless you are ready and willing to take the risk..
I just realized why I am afraid also like you to give myself to my ex bf, when I married my husband. All the question that I was asking before is answered through him.. The answer is, "GOD is directing me in his own way to the right path of happiness by listening to him.

First of all how old are you asking a silly question. Secondly are you really in love or lust. Third how long have you known this person. Fourth is this person trying to get in you panties. Fifth do you know how serious AIDS and STDS are? If you are a virgin I would suggest you keep it that way until you get married. Sex is over rated. Yes it hurts like hell your first time, and you bleed. Don't fall for the hype. stay innocent you can never get it back once its gone. If it helps you any I wish I could be a virgin again. Listen to the song sex by lyfe jennings. KEEP IT RESPECT YOUR BODY!!!!!

If you are afraid then you are obviously still not ready.
Remember not to do something because you feel pressured and make sure it is what you want. Once it's done there is no going back so be sure before you make any decisions you may regret.

You are afraid because your soul is speaking to you, telling you that this is not the right time or the right person. When the time is really right and you are for sure of the person you want to be with, your soul will be at ease, and you won't be afraid anymore.
When you get to that point, remember to protect yourself!!!

you should do what makes you happy and not worry about the other, if youve never had sex, well ur gonna have to sometime, unless you wanna die never experienceing something that great, (from a mans point of view anywase, (myself), but if u have in the past and enjoyed it then why not now

everyone at some point in their lives are afraid to have sex. because,they never did it before. But once they do, they get over their fears. And enjoy it for what it is.
