I went to a 3 day seminar in the early 90's and I remember it was really powerful, but what ever happened to it? I kinda remember some of the stuff from it and I would like to find out more. It was how to make your life better and make choices and how being right isn't going to make your life better. It seemed like a lot of Dr. Phil talk. I wish I remembered more.

It's still very much going. Visit http://www.landmark-forum.com

It is highly controversial because it's expensive, because its pushy and self-evangelical (in an American hard-sell way, like the nastier kind of American Christian churches), and because some people think they've suffered from taking part in it.

For what seems at a quick glance like a well-balanced and well-informed review giving both sides of questions about the Forum, visit

"how being right isn't going to make your life better"

this point of view alone can be so useful for opening up workability in areas of life that might not be working exactly the way one wants

motormank, it is now called The Landmark Forum.

and it is one of the most effective educational programs i have found for the average person looking to create for themselves an extraordinary life, and now and not someday.

It just gets you where you say you want to be in 3 days!

I participated in 1984 and have been though ongoing training and development with LEC (Landmark Education) since then. I am a happy customer. My life works and i have a level of happiness that i never would have predicted for myself.

Also for you as someone who has already done the The Landmark Forum, LEC has a new division of programs called the WISDOM area. Check out the WISDOM course bro - it is a one year course that just when i thought i had grown as much as i could , i grew some more.

The WISDOM program's focus is bringing play, grace and ease present in all areas of life.

also FYI

there is a new film coming out about Werner Erhard (who created the technology and from whom all these new kids on the block ( like *i cringe* Dr. Phil, owe a sizeable debt) Though he works quietly in the background Werner Erhard is still a huge figure in the field of global transformation.
