will its natural instincts cause the child to dive underwater?

I respect all or ur decisions to put this tremendous amount of hatred on me. But, this is for my class in high school. It is a 1 ft pool, so the child would not have to swim.
My arguement is probably goin with that theyll run to their mother because they still do not hav the wisdom that water will ease the pain. But it is a possibility that they hav natural instincts that cause them to go in the water.

Why would you even want to think about that? Please don't have children. I do not want to see this story on the news.

Thats an awful idea. He'd probably get scalded and need medical attention. Have you ever been shocked by someone spraying you with cold water? What was your instint? Geez.

yes for only to ease away the heat that he feels due to burning.
but the danger when he dives into the water is that, he does not
know how to swim.

I would say 50/50. I think most would run to their mother for help.
