the clown i'd really fear would be john wayne gacy! as to anyone spending money on his paintings of clowns when he was waiting to be executed--how in the world would anyone consider them art worthy enough to spend even one dollar on? amazing!
but i for one never liked clowns all my life. neither did i ever feel a fear for clowns. it's something to do with how they make up their faces and the wigs they wear. they are not comic to all of us that look at them. it doesn't matter whether they make their faces up to look cheerful, silly, or sad: their faces don't look natural.
i know that many babies don't like clowns and/or fear them, too. when babies don't like or fear the way a person dresses or makes up his face, there is something wrong.

I'm not, but my mom is really afraid of them...
She actually used to have nightmares about a clown chasing her up a flight of stairs, and one time "Time" magazine did an article on dreams, and there was a picture of the EXACT same clown that used to chase her...She freaked out, and got even more scared of them after that!!

I friggin love clowns. I surround myself with them. My favorite is a clown named Pennywise.

the only clown i fear is pogo the clown but with gacey gone away i no longer have anything to fear!

I do think clowns are creepy.... but that's precisely why I like them. I'm weird that way.
