on friday we had a pep assembly and my grade color is gray and i was holding a sign for the other grade below mine and people were threting to push me off the bleachers (because i was on the edge). was this a bad move to make?

don't worry about it. You were just being nice i assume. high school will always remain in the past after you have graduated. "whats right is not always popular and whats popular is not always right" Its been 5 yrs since I grad and I don't see any of those people anymore (the world is so big) and the popular just got ugly and fat. they were no where exceptionally great like I thought they were king and queens of the world but stuck at Dave's pizza takin orders and makin pies.

Stand up for what you believe in, if you felt like cheering on the other grade so what? It's just a stupid pep rally. People get so bent out of shape over the dumbest things. It really isn't a big deal.
However, if you are really worried and someone really gets on your case about it, just lie and say it was to impress a girl or guy you like and you didn't mean anything by it. That is something everyone can understand :P

What's done is done, you can't go back and undo it so there is no point on dwelling on it. However, you should have the right to support whoever you want to support. People don't have the right to threaten you because you have a different opinion. But in the future you should sit with the people who are supporting the same group that you support to avoid confrontations.

no there was nothing wrong with that. during pep assembly of freshman yr the seniors started chanting "freshman suck" so we screamed back that seniors suck. people held signs too, its all part of the experience. they should have just let it go
