whos better peyton manning or tom brady?

Tom Brady is definitely better and let me tell you why.
Tom Brady is on the New England Patriots who have let just about every good WR go. deion branch, David givens etc... but through all this tom Brady has remained consistent and was still a great QB. i think that if you take Tom Brady out of the PATS offense and put him in the Colts Offense the colts would be 8 time defending Superbowl champs. j/k. but seriously i think the mark of a great QB is being able to take him and put him in any system and any team and see if he does great. i think that tom Brady would be great in any system while Peyton would struggle if it wasn't for the colts offense. Tom Brady is alot like Joe Montana. NOT BETTER BUT Comparable. when Joe went from the 49ers to the not so great chiefs he made them better then average and even more so in ever football game. and i think that if tom Brady went from the pats to any other team they would be automatic contenders and everyone would be looking over their shoulder at that team!!!

The question that vexes us all ...

Right now, Brady. It's not just the 3 rings to Manning's 1. It's the whole body of clutch, postseason work. Brady has been magnificent so many times in so many tight spots, while Manning has wilted MORE OFTEN than he has come through, which is a huge detractor. A lot of BAD postseason performances, and virtually no flops for Brady. Brady has 2 SB MVPs and should have 3 (Branch won one).

Right now, this is a little like the Stabler-Bradshaw rivalry of the late 70s. During the Steelers run of dominance, Stabler and the Raiders bounced them in the AFC championship game en route to a title. They never did again. If Manning doesn't do more to improve his body of postseason work, he'll never surpass Brady - regardless of what Brady does.

That said, I think Brady and the Pats have a better shot at another title than Manning and the Colts.

So I think Brady is better, and it's the big game performances that are the difference.

Tom Brady, he's done a lot more than Manning and I'm not just speaking about the Super Bowl victories. When Brady entered the league, he had a lot less talent around him than Manning did and Brady found the success a lot sooner.

Id say they're equal. They each have their strengths and weaknesses and yes Brady has 2 more rings but they are both phenomenal. It doesnt hurt that they have great teams built around them. The best way to prove how great they both are is by going back to last postseason. Both of them when their team was down carried their team to the win. Plummer couldnt ever do that, neither could Eli or countless other "elite" QBs.

The only way you could really test em to see who's better is to insert Manning or Brady into a sucky team, like the Raiders or Lions one week and have the other one try his hand with the same team the next week and see who did better. But seeing as how that will never happen the best anyone will ever do is speculate.

Brady is better in a clutch situation. manning is great statistically but brady has the rings to prove just how good he is. plus nobody expected brady to be good i'm probably off on this but Brady was a 5th or 6th round pick while everyone knew peyton would be good thats why he was a 1st round draft pick.

I'd have to say Tom Brady, cause he loses more and more WR's every year and has to use brand new group of WR's and TE's all the time and still leads his team to a great record to contend for the Super Bowl every year, and Manning has had Harrison, Wayne, Edge and lots of other elite offensive weapons and he's only won 1 Super Bowl now, compared to the 3 Super Bowls Brady has won

If I had to start a team I would say Brady. If I wanted a guy who is a hell of a great QB and will make my WR happy, I would say Manning. If you are a GM you are going to want Brady because he can just win. I like both but I like Brady better because he gets it done with no name WR while Manning has potentially the greatest WR ever on his team...

Manning is the better Q.B. but Brady is still the better leader,If I want to win 14 or 15 regular season games I take Manning If I want to win the Super Bowl everytime it's Brady.
