He is taking off and not comming home till hourd later,usually sneaking out of the house,or not comming home at all! My mom and i have always told him the dangers of drugs over and over but the other day he came home with a STRONG odor on him...my mom said it smelled like pot and hid eyes were lit up....what do you think and what can we do?? Also he is flunking out of school..has mostly d's and f's...and the worst is his father died of drugs when he was 1 year old.Could he be more likely to do it cuz his father did??

send him to a disciplinary school. it will improve his attitude for 1 thing. possibly stop the drugs. and improve the grades. if you dont have the money to do so. take the discipline in your own hands. make your home like a boot camp. more kids are being like this and people dont believe in discipline so their kids get into stuff because they know they can get away with it. make sure its a positive discipline tho. negative can cause grades to drop. such as verbal discipline. my dad did that to me alot and my grades were horrible. i havent talked to my dad for awile and my grades are 3.0 and higher

Try looking at his room if there are any kind of drugs0r cigarettes. You could also try asking his friends where is he going to everyday. You could try waiting for him to come home and ask him where is he from.
