someone help me im the mother of 3! two girls 6 and 7 and a 6 month old..
well i put my 6 year old in the shower right now and she had pubic hair, i mean real pubic hair not peach fuzz, this was the real thing! i freaked out so bad i ran to m room to cry!
whats the reason for this? does it mean she's ging to start soon?
i hope not... what should i do??

OHH..Plz send her to the Doctor. I think these are Hormones.
But when was the last time u saw her i mean before this time?
was there anything like that?

Slow down!! No reason to cry. Its probably just a freak of nature. It doesn't mean anything other than she is growing up. Are we talking one strand out of no where or many. Many could mean she is way ahead of her time and maybe to make you feel better you should call your doctors office Monday morning and see whats up. Don't give her a complex by freaking out MOM. Get a grip and relax it will be fine.

Young females can start their periods as young as 9 years old. The best thing is to sit down with her and talk to her about the changes in her body in the next coming years. She is probably just as scared as you are.

Relax. I had full pubic hair when I was 7 and now im 13, I still haven't gotten my period.

wouldnt you have seen it growing over time? i mean, i assume you give her a bath everyday....
but anyways, i wouldnt freak out about it, things could be worse. hormones may be starting up way too soon, so there may be something to that, but all in all theres no crazy disease to worry about. just see the pediatrician thats all.

who cares if she does, in the old days 12 year olds use to have children, just face the fact that your child is an early developer its not bad, dont feel ashamed. its common
