I'd consider you atheist, since it seems you don't believe that some greater deity(s) exists. However, you may just be a nontheist, where you simply don't have any beliefs one way or another. I personally am in between the two as an agnostic, where I believe that it's not possible to know whether deity(s) exist.

Ultimately, it's up to you to decide what your beliefs are.

Just by reading your question, I can easily classify you within the same category I assign to those who think that any atheist is "in" any "major seven religions", or with people who spell 'classified' "classifyed".

Having said that, I am humbled by the mention of humanism and have to recommend that you focus on defining your obligation to the people around you without concerning yourself with 'what it all means'. You'll become a better person faster that way.

Agnostics are those that are not sure about what they should believe it.

Athiests are those that flat out deny the existance of a divine being controling things.

Why define yourself based on Yahoo Answers? Read or listen to "Mere Christianity" by C. S. Lewis.
In "Surprised by Joy", Lewis wrote: "I gave in, and admitted that God was God, and knelt and prayed that night, the most dejected and reluctant convert in all of England."
He was an Atheist who became a staunch supporter of Christianity. You have much in common with him.

Call yourself a "Free Thinker" or a "Searcher", for now, if you like.

You don't have to be either a believer or an atheist/agnostic. You can be a Humanist and ignore those metaphysical questions, and focus on humanity and ethics. Also see Ethical Culture's ideas. Try www.NYSEC.org

Atheism means you not only lack belief in religion, but also god and heaven/hell. If you are truly atheist you would not be concerned with heaven or hell because they do not exist to you.

Agnostics don't believe either way because it cannot be proved.

Therefore, you are neither. I'd say you are more Christian than anything else.

I'd say you are Agnostic and that you will likely revert back to Christianity when you get closer to death.

The phrase "There are no atheists in foxholes refers to people like you."

After further inspection of your other question, I'd say you are just confused. Try reading some books (I strongly recommend Sophie's Choice) instead of trying to determine your religion based on movies.

You sound Agnostic to me. A strong atheist would say your illogical (they say that about me).

Sorry about breaking the 'major 7 religions' requirement - Christian here.

it seems like you're just flat out atheist, but your previous christian beliefs are kind of uhmm.. haunting you?
atheism clashes with christianity and right now, it seems like you're clashing with yourself.
