Correction .. i did play wow at one point in time. Just tell me your story about how you got into the game or why you quit. I don't need any pointless responses.

Yep, I play Wow, with my fiance in fact. We've been playing since December, 2005.
I stopped for about 2 months, we took a break because he lost his job and couldn't pay for it and I didn't want to pass him in the game since it's our "thing".
We're still playing. We have multiple characters, but our mains are (him) 70 Orc Warrior and (me) 70 Undead Priest.
Besides that fact that it is an endless supply of fun, we also use it as a form of hanging out with one of our closest friends that moved to Texas (we're in Michigan) to go to grad school (he's an all A student and plays WoW at the same time, multi-talented:P) and his new girlfriend who just recently started playing as well.

I play Guild Wars and have a free trial key for WoW but haven't used it yet. I'm waiting for a free weekend so I can make the most of it!
I'm looking forward to it but I'm not sure I'll take out a subscription as I don't agree with having to pay monthly for a game. Money is much better spent on other things, like food and clothes for my 2 year old daughter! I have to prioritise!

Nope, never have. I play Runescape and though WOW has nicer graphics I prefer RS. I think it is a far better value for the money and I am not comfortable with the security (or what seems like a lack thereof) to play WOW (just my opinion).

Yup, played for nearly 3 yrs now. Used to play average 10 hours per day every day, now a LOT less.. mebbe 2 hours a day.
But I still love it, tbc is great and I have 4 main chars and a few lesser played ones. My son got me into it and now I play more than him.
So far I have 67 Nelf Druid, 60 Human Pala, 55 Nelf unta and 40 gnome Mage.
WoW pwns RS!

It's a good game, your able to play with your friends as well as makeing new ones around the world (well europe or the USA depending one what servers you play on)
I play it still and i did stop, but it is quite addictive :D

I played WoW for a couple of weeks, but it is so woefully generic and simple I just couldn't see the point in wasting money on it.

still got it,don't play it because it is so addictive,best game I've ever played.
Had to stop playing it as i was spending 10 hours a day on it.
if you have time it's an amazing game
