Definitely! Nursing is a hot career right now. It is very in demand and will likely stay that way. The population always needs medical care and the population is ever increasing so this job will always be in demand.

I read an article that says in the year 2020 there will be a shortage of 800,000 nurses. I posted the link below:

Also there are many jobs open for someone with nursing degrees, not just typical hospital jobs.

With the aging population, absolutely! Health care is one area that will be in high demand in the future. It's the same in many countries where the baby boomers are retiring. A lot more senior citizens means more nurses will be needed, especially those that specialise in long term care for the elderly.

Probably more so than it is now. As medical care improves, people live longer, and require more medical care.

If people can be put to work that have the proper spirit to even check vital signs it may not decline.
