Are you asking what the word "SOX" means?

It is a term for "socks", or short for "stockings". It is the nickname of two American baseball teams, the Chicago White Sox, and the Boston Red Sox, named for their original baseball uniforms colors from the 19th century.

Its an acronymn for Sarbanes-Oxley. The Sarbanes-Oxley act (also called Sarbox) was a law passed by congress in 2002, and it deals with corporate accounting and reporting practices, mainly due to the fallout from the Enron, MCI, and Tyco corporate scandals. The sponsors for the act were senator Paul Sarbanes (D-Md), and representative Michael G. Oxley (R-Oh).
