it has 75k miles, new spark plugs, fully charged battery, original starter. After 5 min trying, it started ans so for the whole day. After two days parking, same thing woould happen again for sure. Only would be the last time before it is on tow, which I am afraid of. Any one works for Toyota? Please and Thank You!!!!

there could be a numgber of things that are worng. I've the same thing happen with my volkswagen Jetta. it could be any of the following:
-coilpacks
(these are the things that fire the spark plugs at the right time)

-distributor
(replaced by the coilpack, this is what allowed the spark plugs to fire correctly. check to make sure your car has a distributor or a coilpack)

-alternator

-starter
(the eletric motor that turns the engine to help it start)

-wirers

I know you said your battery had a good charge, but batteries only have a life expectancy of about 5 years. If you have not gotten a new one recently, it might not have enough power to start when the engine is cold.

you decide on a clean starter. that's an uncomplicated to swap starter and don't be too stunned on the cost. they do no longer sell them with the help of the pound. That little sucker expenses plenty from Toyota. try vehicle Zone for a rebuilt. save the previous battery for a spare, or get a voltage inverter for emergency or tenting use to boost the battery juice from 12vdc to 110vac.

At this point your battery could be the best there is, but when you have a bad alternator it's gonna give you problems you should have someone check the voltage with a multi-meter for the charge your alternator is getting...

First of all it is not possible to diagnose with 100% certainty. The car is old enough to have problems if certain maintenance items have been overlooked. You might do as I do and give yourself a birthday present each year. My birthday reminds me to change all my filters. That would be air, fuel and oil.
