Neocons don't realize that money goes in circles. If the very few elite have all the money, the economy will flounder and finally fail.
Treat the poor as good as you can, because any of us could be among them some day. All it takes is a series of bad luck. I am thankful for what I have, but I know that I could easily lose it.
This neocon worship of CEO's golden parachutes amazes me. They think these Ebenezer Scrooges will hand them something if they suck up enough. The thing that they don't understand is when he does hand them something it will be a lump of coal.

Two trillion could fund Social Security for many years, two trillion could provide health care for every man woman and child in the country for many years, two trillion could have rebuilt N.O. after Katrina. Yes, The US should pull out and come home from virtually every where in the world. Withdraw from NATO, the UN, the World Bank, NAFTA and so on. We should stop helping everyone that asks for aid or loans unless it is for a natural disaster. Build our border fence and straighten up our problems at home. Then and only then should we go back out into the world. One cannot be a good example unless their own house is in order first.
