emotional ploys based on current events... like calling someone a terrorist...
blaming someone for the difficulties in people's lives... like saying it's the liberals faults that illegal immigrants took your job...
hiding behind patriotism and nationalism... like "it's ok because I love America"...
slanting the facts... like a study would be released where only part of it supports you, but the other part tears down your support, you only use the part that supports you, even if the entire study actually destroys your argument...
