I recently bought a Sony Vaio notebook model Vgn-c240 and need to turn off the sound it makes when the notebook starts and the Vaio logo appears. It runs on Vista, I turned off Windows sounds and have the volume on mute but the sound from the Vaio logo still comes on when the notebook is turned on. I really need to turn it off. I have a small baby and if she is sleeping she wakes up from that sound. Thank you.

I did the Windows Media move but the sound is still on. I already had Windows sounds turned off from the control panel.
