That our government was actually responsible for 9/11. Some people believe that and to Americans that would be utterly terrifying because then the people would no longer be the ones in control of the government, which is what our nation was founded on.

Nothing comes to mind that hasn't been listed....oh yeah, identity theft, uninsured motorists....come to think of it, we're pretty lucky after all. Compared to the troubles in some other countries I guess we're doing alright.
