I am thinking of teaching college, can someone tell me which college professors are in demand, which are not, or where can I find such information?

In USA currently there is a great demand of Professors in Mathematics, Accounting and Engineering. When it comes to being a professor, realize it's more than teaching. Along with teaching to gain Tenure at the University or College, you will need to work on A+ Publications. If your goal is strictly to teach, than you might want to consider other forms rather than at University or College levels. If you are up to College Level, than its a great rewarding experience, as long as you are willing to push through the hurdles and be patient. As obejctive is to get Tenurship and get funding for your self.
