At what point or week did you tell your parents, siblings and close friends about your pregnancy?

Some people like to wait until the 12 week mark because that is when the chance of miscarriage significantly goes down...I personally told everyone when I found out....its really up to you when you want to tell everyone...there is no right or wrong..Good Luck!

I told my mom the next day at about 5 weeks. The rest of the close family we told over the next week or so... from there, word just spread. Not that anything happened, but if there is a next time, I think we'll wait till the 12 week mark. Just cause I was so scared that I would have a miscarriage and have to explain it to everyone.

I'm 5w3d, and I told my inlaws tonight. Next week I'll tell my parents. I've also told a couple of very close friends. The rest of the world will have to wait until the second trimester.

With my first, not until I was 5 months. I was only 18 and scared stiff!!
The other three, (15 yrs later) as soon as we found out. We were over the moon and couldn't wait to tell..
Some people wait in case something happens, but my theory was that if it did, I would grieve and at least people would understand what was going on.

We told everyone in the family the same day we found out... my fiances mother is the one who told me she thought that I was and she brought over a pregnancy test. She ran back to her house and called everyone she knew and then posted the bulletin on myspace... so with that side of the family I didn't have to say anything.

When my mother made me go and get a pregnancy test... We told his family when I was 5 months along. We have been married for almost 12 years now and have 3 kids so it all worked out....

I told them as soon as I knew myself...and that wasn't until the 6 month and my mother in law made me take a pregnancy test and all so she found out first.

well I first told a close friend because I needed advice on telling my mom then I told my mom and ran...and I didnt have to tell anyone else that TRUSTED friend told everyone else for me...wasnt that sweet of her....
P.s. Im not married thats why I ran after telling my mom

its up to you when you tell, I'm 9 5days and Ive only chosen to tell a cpl of ppl since its my 4th some ppl give u a negative answer when u tell them so I'm leaving them till last 9 maybe when I'm showing). congrats and hope u enjoy ur pregnancy
