This is adware installed on your computer by a Vundo Trojan. WinAntiVirus is a real program, but, it"s as worthless a nipples on a man. It looks like it can do the job, but it doesn't produce.

This is a special program for removing Vundo Trojans.

The procedure should fix Vundo-based Winfixer(WinAntiSpyware, WinAntiVirus, Blackworm, Amaena)problems.

Please download Atribune's VundoFix.exe (version 4.2.71 [as of 21 April '06], or later), from

http://www.atribune.org/ccount/click.php?id=4

and save it to your desktop.

Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.

Put a check next to Run VundoFix as a task.

You will receive a message saying vundofix will close and re-open in a minute or less. Click OK Note: If VundoFix does not reopen after a minute (or two), then you should skip-over the "Run as a task" step, and continue-on to the following steps to SCAN and REMOVE.

When VundoFix re-opens, click the Scan for Vundo button.

Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.

You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES

Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.

When completed, it will prompt that it will shutdown your computer, click OK.

Turn your computer back on.

Now that the Vundo is removed, updating your Java program may help in avoiding reinfection. It is believed that older versions of Java may be exploited by this infection. After downloading the latest version, go to Add/Remove Programs and remove all older version of Java on your computer.

WinAntiVirus is a rogue "Virus Removal" application. It's designed to "fix Viruses" that cause PC instability and vulnerability. However, the developers of this program have a LONG history of un-ethical tactics to acquire their customers. Once their spyware is installed on your pc, you're plagued with irritating false 'Windows-Like' popups. These popups are irritating by design.... they hope to frustrate into shelling out $50 to buy WinAntiVirus 2006 to remove it.

No ~ it sounds much more like a spam. DOn't be deceived with such stupid ads! Beware of software piracy as me myself experienced it once. It stated that it's I must upgrade my WIndows Media Player software... in the end, it's just unable to work anymore -- I can't even play my music --- until now.

I would NOT install this program. You need to run an antispyware or anti-adware program to get rid of it.

Never install anything that pops up and tells you to unless you asked for it first.
