Conservative talk radio is dug in like Germans at the Battle of the Bulge--Thanks to Reagan's repealing of the Fairness Doctrine, the expansion of Conservative Talk shows flooded our airwaves and sucked the quality of journalism right out of the industry. Allowing Multi-National conglomerates to also own major media outlets--has turned journalism into a profit-motivated business, severely restricting and undermining the public interest.

Air-America, the blogosphere, Jon Stewart, and NPR are the pioneering factions that are leading the Progressive movement which centers around a public that is aware of it's surroundings and not satisfied with the rhetoric that's constantly propogated by our major media outlets.
Under this Administration our media and the ability to report are severely restricted. More journalists have been fired, threatened, or imprisoned than in any other time in history.

There wasn't much of a demand, even with the mainstream media promoting it left and right. Conservative talk shows like Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, and Quinn and Rose don't just talk about politics. Who wants to hear pure politics? No one. That's why Air America's ratings aren't through the roof as they wanted it to be, and why Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Glenn Beck (in that order) are the top three most listened to talk shows in America.

Air what?
Just another case of Libs having very inflated opinions of themselves and their sense of self-importance. Maybe there is a lesson for them here (but I doubt they care to notice).
They got what they deserve; few listeners and even fewer ad sales.

liberals listen to music on the radio?
then read the papers and make up their minds... don't really need people to tell us what to make of today's news... we can figure it out on our own...
