Its not fair on the aborting of a baby cause of the way the mother got pregnant. A new life is a pure life, the baby didn't ask to be put there, no matter how he/she was put there it doesnt deserve to die just because it's biological father was a rapist. (and the fact the rapist is the babies biological father, in my opinion, that counts for nothing since he would not have a part in the babies life...depends on the beliefs of the woman, if she is against abortion, she should still be against it if she was raped, even if she could not bring it up, she could put it for adoption, better than killing it)

Generally speaking I don't favor abortion, however there may be circumstances where it can be justified as a morally acceptable choice.

I would say the examples I would find most justifiable would be those in which the health or well-being of the mother-to-be would be put in danger by allowing the birth of the baby. These are rare situations, but they do occur.

In the case of rape a pregnant woman should be allowed to determine whether giving birth would have adverse effects on her health or well-being. She should weigh those considerations against the arguments against terminating a child who had nothing to do with the sins of its father. If she decides abortion is the best course I would not argue that it is not.

However I would strongly argue in favor of having the baby and giving it up for adoption.

In the case of very under-aged girls made pregnant by rape, I would say in most cases an early termination of the pregnancy is probably in the best interests of all concerned. Each case is different and should be weighed on its own merits.

No. It’s never acceptable to kill an innocent human being. Would you kill a one-year-old because her father was a rapist? If not, why is the child in the womb fair game? Is she less worthy of life than the rest of us because of the circumstances of her conception? Should children be punished with violent death for the crime of their fathers?

Furthermore, abortion only increases the grief and trauma of a woman who has been raped. Abortion does not erase the fact of the rape, but only causes the mother to become the aggressor, hurting another innocent victim the way she was hurt. Rape is bad; murder is worse. The knowledge of what she has done to her child will haunt her long after she has healed from the rape. Studies have shown that the majority of women who abort a child conceived in rape regret it, while none of the mothers who choose to give birth do (see links below).

In the case of incest, abortion allows the molester to cover up the evidence of his crimes and continue his abuse. It is often the molester who pushes for abortion.

Rape..Incest and if it threatens the PHYSICAL life of the mother....YES....not the social life...
These categories amount to less than 2 % of the documented abortions...but the libs will not tell you this
But abortion on demand for birth control is wrong...the right of "choice" ends with the decision not to use birth control...if a embryo is created it should not be killed...adoption IS available.

If that is the victim of rape choice than heck YES she should exercise her right. Amazing how many ppl say adoption yet when it comes time to pay up for those kids within the system where are these ppl. How much tax dollars are being spent on children and the care they receive..........hmmm.

I believe in the freedom of choice. If that mother can live with the fact that she has aborted her child, then so be it let her choose. I don't know if I could, because I have never been in such a situation.

Abortion cannot be legislated. It is a decision that only the pregnant woman can make. It is HER body and only SHE should make decisions concerning it.

Only in the case of rape? An abortion should be allowed at any time up until the second trimester. If life is so precious, make sure you're ready before bringing one into this world.

If there's anything sadder than a woman in the position of having to coose abortion, it's yet another unwanted, unloved, or orphaned child. It's a very personal, private choice that can be made by only one person. As a man I can't begin to imagine how hard it would be to make a coice like that. It's none of my business.

certainly

Edit note; this is to men and Christians, I am a man and a Christian, I also am old enough to remember before abortion was legal and how ill advised maybe but none the less Young women went to back street abortionist and died, became infertile, infested, the list goes on and on, you have decided that you can walk in her shoes, BUT YOU CAN'T, let her decide and not you, if it were you mother, wife, daughter, aunt or cousin, close friend you might think differently
