Light Brown Spotting?

I'm not sexually active, but there are small amount of brown material coming from vagina. I'm kinda worried. What could be the source? Does it have anything to do with pregnancy?

Well, it could be light spotting, kind of like your getting your period. By the time the blood gets to the panties, it turns brown in color. If you are pregnant, sometimes you spot a little and not have a full menstrual cycle. But of course, you can only get pregnant if your having sex. So chances are you are having light spotting.
There is somthing called Cervicitis which is an issue with an infection and your cervix. So if it continues and you don't have your menstrual cycle, then make sure you see your doctor.

This light brown spotting I have sometimes after my menstrual due to old blood they refer to "bleeding implantation". If you type brown spotting in the yahoo bar you will see that there are many sources leading to this. I had it sometimes during my pregnancy too but only to find out I miscarried later. I never had it during my three successful pregnancies later. You should get checked up to see if your pregnant and if not just to make sure it is not serious.
