well i am the head cheer leader at my school and i broke my foot so should i let some one fill in or should i still cheer and be careful?

As a coach, I am a little concerned about exactly where the break occured, and if the doctor has given you the go ahead to pursue physical activity that requires this foot.

If you can hold your weight on this foot, then I would suspect that you could continue to cheer. I wouldn't place any jolting activities on it though....and that means jumps!

If you a favoring this foot (limping) then sit it out until you are in top form again. You wouldn't want to re-injure yourself which might ultimately have you out for more than a few games!

Talk to your doctor...he has the xrays and can tell you when to join in again!

can you walk and jump/cheer on your foot. if your foot is better, i would cheer and be VERY careful. but if this happened recently and you can barely walk/jump on your foot, i would temperarely let someone fill in, but still go to the practices to give ideas and keep up to date on the cheers so you will be ready to jump back in any time!!!hope i helped
