It takes two factors to produce male pattern baldness: heredity and hormones. If you don't have the gene for it, no amount of testosterone will cause baldness. If you do have the gene, then the higher your testosterone levels, the more likely you are to go bald.

No, it's a certain type of testosterone that can contribute to baldness, Di-Hydro or some such. And Male Pattern Baldness might not even have anything to do with testosterone. Hopefully someone smarter than me answers this too.

heridity does, too much testosterone can cause it too.
