I want to start signing all my emails, Love Medusa
I don't want to freak my friends out, I DO love them though.

In my circle of friends, there would be little reservation about expressing love for each other. I doubt if anyone would read anything into it. That's the kind of relationship I have with my friends. I love them & the feeling is mutual.
It depends on the relationship you have with your friends. If you're concerned about it, why not ask them straight up? I'm guessing that they'll be more than OK with it once you explain your position. They'll probably respond in kind.

No, go ahead. When I sign on my emails, I always use the word "Love". There is nothing wrong with it.

Not at all. Some of my friend even write "I love you" or "Love You" before their signature. I usually just sign my name in emails like this:

Not at all. My friends and I have always been like that. It's not like professing romantic love for someone, it's just an expression that says you care for them on a level higher than that of an acquaintance. (IMHO)

I think it's honest and shows a true friendship where two people really know each other well and don't feel uncomfortable to tell the other they love them.

for a second there it does but then I get over it cause I love them too. It's just weird to say and hear it.

I tell most of my friends that, depending on which friends it is. I wouldn't put it on automatically though, pick and chose which friends you actually want to say that to.

I tell all my friends I love them...for those that I am not real close too...I do the....⥠ya....but for the most part...I say...I love you...& I have male & female friends.....it just depends on your relationship with them.....

Just do it.it's common.when someone says that,i'm not concern,just glad!no harm telling them u love them!when you love someone,it's important to express it and let them know it when there's an opportunity.
